After 9 years and nearly 200 gigs, MC Cajun are disbanding. All the band members are now involved with other bands and musical projects, and this is the first time since they started playing together that there are no future gigs booked. So, after their last gig at the beginning of July, they all amicably decided to call in a day. Quoting members of the band - "We've had some great nights out playing, met loads of wonderful people and now have loads of new friends - thanks to you all, and to everyone who has danced to and supported the band over the years. We're all still on the scene and will see you all again".

Formed in 1995 by a group of friends and members of the Midland Classic Motor Cycle Club. Originally called the Midland Classic Cajun Band, it soon was shorten to MC Cajun, if only to fit on the posters.
